2018 Nissan Pathfinder Arlington Heights Chicago IL
We are excited about the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder, an improved and rugged midsize SUV, which is available starting September 2017! It is a carryover from the 2017 model year that saw an upgrade in horsepower from 260 to 284, and in towing power from 5,000 to 6,000 pounds, and now in 2018 we have an expanded suite of driver-assist features!
What we're seeing is a vehicle that was already formidable, with room for up to seven and cargo room that expands to 79.8 cubic feet with rear seats folded, and also witnessing the addition of a brand-new feature called Rear Door Alert. What Rear Door Alert does – if you activate the feature - is set off a series of honks if you get out of your car and your back seat needs to be checked due to warm food, for example, thanks to sensors that monitor the rear seats. The 2018 Pathfinder is the first Nissan to have this feature, and you have a better chance of not leaving food or other items in the car moving forward!

Also new for the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder is the expanded availability of two features that were only found in the top-line Platinum trim in the 2017 model year, but which now are available for more affordably-priced trims. For starters, Automatic Emergency Braking, which pumps the brakes for you if you don't have the time to do so in a pinch, is now standard for all trim levels, when it was only in the Platinum trim in the 2017 model. In addition, Intelligent Cruise Control is now available for all but the base S trim, as it was also only in the Platinum trim in 2017.
If you would like an SUV that can go off-road in a 4WD version, tow a couple tons, and fit nearly 80 cubic feet in back, then the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder, with its expanded roster of safety and driver-assist features, is the vehicle for you! Look for it on the lot at Arlington Nissan, 1100 W. Dundee Road in Arlington Heights, IL. We also serve the greater Chicagoland area, including Naperville, Schaumburg and Palatine.
