2017 Nissan GT-R: Premium vs. Track Edition vs. NISMO Chicago IL
The Nissan GT-R has a fine tradition of next-level engineering and thrills to live up to, with a design that is sleek enough to win races, an engine loud enough to elicit the nickname "Godzilla," and performance enough to do amazing things like set the world record for drift speed (in a specially-tuned edition).
And the latest edition of the GT-R for the 2017 model year more than lives up to these thrilling past exploits, with a more-powerful engine experience, to go along with special design features and available technology that make this a must-drive! We'll look at some of the differences of the three possible trim options for the 2017 GT-R: The Premium, Track Edition and the NISMO, and see just how much of a daredevil you are!

Take Your Pick – Each Option Has At Least 500 HP with the 2017 GT-R in Chicagoland
While the baseline trim level of the 2017 GT-R, Premium, comes with an already-imposing 565 HP V6 engine and an impressive 11-speaker Bose audio system, it also has all-wheel drive, Electronic Traction Control, and plenty more. The Track Edition, which is new for 2017 and will be available starting late summer 2017, comes with all of these features of the Premium, plus some sporty flourishes for more of a high-performance feel, such as Nissan Motorsports, aka NISMO-tuned suspension and NISMO 20-inch wheels.
The top-flight trim option for the 2017 GT-R is the NISMO trim, with an upgrade from 565 HP to 600 HP and the engine gets tuned up for even faster and more bold exploits. The car itself also undergoes a transformation for the NISMO trim, with carbon-fiber front / rear fascia and side sills, and a rear spoiler. No matter which model version you opt for, you have a sleek, fast and powerful machine that will dazzle onlookers – for the brief moment they see you before you reach escape velocity, that is.
