There isn't a hotter segment of automobile right now than the small crossover utility vehicle, or CUV, which is why our engineers had to do everything they possibly could to make sure the 2013 Nissan Rogue could stand out in the crowd. We here at Bob Rohrman Arlington Nissan think we've done a pretty good job at giving this particular crossover enough unique qualities to engage our customers, so as long as those customers enjoy an upscale interior, sharp exterior styling, and a fun, easy driving experience. If so, the Rogue could very well be the right vehicle for them.

There are two trim levels for the five-passenger Rogue: the S and the SV, although for 2013 there is a new Special Edition trim package, which is available as an extension of the S. This package adds alloy wheels, foglights, rear privacy glass, steering wheel controls, satellite radio, and a 4.3-inch display audio screen to the standard package.

The standard S, however, is nothing to scoff at. It offers pretty typical standard fare like cruise control, full power accessories, and a really nice four-speaker stereo system with auxiliary audio jack to plug in an iPod or smartphone device.

For those interested in adding a few more gadgets and a bit more luxury, the SV trim has a couple of packages that offer plenty of both. The standard SV bumps up the alloy wheel size to 17 inches, plus includes features like keyless ignition and keyless entry, nicer interior upholstery, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The SV Premium package adds a sunroof, automatic climate control, and a GPS system with a touchscreen display and live traffic updates, while the SL Premium package goes up to an 18-inch wheel, xenon headlights, leather seats, 360-camera view and a premium Bose stereo system.

That's a lot of great options for a car that's plenty great even in its basest trim, but it should be noted that all of these trims offer the same great safety features. Standard on all the 2013 Nissan Rogue models are antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, active front headrests, and a good number of airbags throughout the cabin of the vehicle. The NHTSA awarded the '13 Rogue a four-star safety rating after extensive crash tests, and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave it their highest marks of "Good" for both frontal-offset and side-impact crash tests. These are all qualities that allow Nissan drivers to feel 100% safe in their vehicles, and that's something we're pretty proud of.

In truth, we here at Bob Rohrman Arlington Nissan are pretty proud of the 2013 Nissan Rogue as a whole. It's got a very smooth, fun drive, and as a smaller crossover it boasts better fuel efficiency than some of the larger SUVs on the market today. It's more luxurious inside than many people expect, and it offers trendy styling in a class of vehicle that tends to look very conservative. If you think you might be interested in making a trip to our Arlington Heights lot to take the Rogue for a test drive, we welcome you with open arms. We know that as soon as you give this vehicle a chance, you'll fall in love. And once you fall in love, you'll end up with the crossover utility vehicle of your dreams.
