We here at Bob Rohrman Arlington Nissan are well aware of the fact that picking out a new family car is not an easy endeavor, especially when the two adults making the joint decision disagree on what they want. The good news is that the 2013 Nissan Altima has the practicality, safety, and technology a more conservative consumer would want in a midsized sedan, as well as the sporty suspension, reasonably powerful engine, and good looks valued by an entirely different subgroup of customers. The bottom line is that you don't have to compromise with the new Altima because it offers a little bit of something for everybody.

There are two body styles of Altima, the sedan and the coupe, and both come in any of three trims: the 2.5, the 2.5 S, and the 3.5 SR. Making the decision between two-door and four-door is an entirely personal choice that depends a lot on why the buyer needs the car, but as far as trim levels and engine types are concerned, it's hard to go wrong even with our base offering.

That base offering, which houses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine capable of 175 hp, offers a truly engaging driving experience while also offering plenty of base level amenities like full power accessories, keyless entry, and more. The 2.5 S is the next step up, and it offers keyless ignition and a higher-quality stereo system.

At the top of the Altima range is the 3.5 SR, which features a 270-hp, 3.5-liter V6 engine that gives owners one heck of a driving experience for a midsized sedan. It adds a few more features as well, but we also have plenty of packages to get things like Bluetooth and a rearview camera into your vehicle.

For families looking into the 2013 Altima, safety is undoubtedly a concern, but crash testers have looked quite favorably on this car, and that's a terrific thing for customers considering putting their young children in the back seat. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, for example, gave the 2012 Altima a four-star crash rating, while the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety awarded it top marks of "Good" for both frontal-offset and side-impact tests.

Those results have a lot to do with terrific standard safety features like antilock brakes, traction and stability control, and plenty of airbags, including side curtain airbags that even protect the second row of seats.

In all, this is just a great midsized sedan that can do a little bit of something for everybody driving it. Both the two-door and the four-door look great, and the 2013 Nissan Altima drives like a much sportier car than you would expect. However, all its new technology added to great safety features and respectable fuel efficiency mean it's a car that everybody can get on board with, and we here at Bob Rohrman Arlington Nissan look forward to having you visit our Nissan lot to take one for a test drive. We sincerely hope that's enough to get you behind the wheel of one of our most highly-rated cars because if you have to make a tough decision on buying a new car, you might as well make the right one.
